PurenessTitus 1:15
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
Something to contemplate. All things pure.
Who are the pure but the redeemed? Believing.
A weak conscience signifies defilement.
1 Corinthians 8:7
Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
Can we eat all things in purity? Without a weak conscience?
I ran into a group that wouldn't even go to a wedding because it was between a believer and an unbeliever...
They had weak consciences' concerning sin in another person's life.
They felt their attendance would show approval to sin...while I argued that they should attend to pray for the faith of the believer not to fail.
Tedious for sure.
