Church Hunting and Division

The question is not ..

Is there division?

There is certainly division.

The question is..

Where is the division?

If divided from a hand it is simply the serpents hand.

If divided against the head?

No Christian in their right mind would serve under the head of the serpent.

Busy

Praise God! Have been so busy!

Caring for my aunt, new doggy, gardens, lawncare and hospice personel visits has left little time.

I also am preparing for our big cookout tomorrow. Hubby says I try to do too much for the cookout...but I love watching everyone have a good time.

It will be extra special this year with my aunt here. She never attended as she was so reclusive and we tried to respect her wishes to be independant. She did attend a few Thanksgivings.

I see now that she is here full time that her reclusive side just means she needs a little more care than more outgoing personalities...love her heart.

No Bloggy New Doggy

The process of watching my aunt and my new dog bowel patterns has left little time for the loveless internet.

lol...

I almost cried when that nice Lutheran pastor called again. To think I only visited once and he is so involved to make sure I am dealing OK with my situation. Not something one sees everyday.

I would love to attend his church..but they say some sort of confession in service. Something about believing in the holy "catholic" church.

I do believe in Christ's spotless church..but to attach the word "catholic" to it?

Of course Christ's blood can cover such weirdness,,words like catholic, baptist, methodist, lutheran, calvinist.

I just don't think I can honestly confess catholic...of course I could leave the word out and let the pastor know I would leave the word out..if it wouldn't bother him ...I never will again attend somewhere that I wasn't in unity with the pastor.

If it wouldn't bother him that I left it out we would be in unity...I don't mind if he says it..he doesn't mind if I don't say it.

but then again...I also hate repetative confessions. Sort of like repetitive prayers that the Lord called heathen.

Something to discuss if I would try to attend and more division?

My Neighbors

I love my neighbors. I must have the most wonderful neighbors in the world.

My neighbors across the street brough me a new puppy! She is so cute. I must have used a whole roll of film on nothing but puppy pictures. I hope they turn out.

I only have one neighbor that isn't so nice to us. They won't even speak for some weird reason. You can always tell when someone hates the Lord because they will hate you also.

Glad

So glad it is spring and I can be outside mowing, gardening and doing all those things I so love.

It also keeps me away from the computer and reading all the trash out there in the name of the Lord..barking and howling and bickering.

Reminds me of some of the sitcoms and soaps I so hate on television.
