Christians that say drinking alcohol is a sin really get to me.

There is no scripture in the bible that says a glass of wine or a beer is sinful.

Excess is sinful yet forgivable...but excess can be in anything...alcohol, food, even words.

While I only drink occasionally and minimal on weekends or holidays ( I also love cooking with beer and wine), I know that it is not a sinful act.

It is like they are adding to scripture when they say it is sinful.

Sure... if someone has an excess problem with alcohol they need to shun the stuff like sin, but to say that it is sin is no way true.

I would hate to see my family alcoholics or any family plagued with the problem...but there is a fine line to telling me that my two glasses of wine once a week is sinful when I know what a lie that is.

Goodness! Get off my chest!

Some people you can forgive..but in doing this you need not remain in abuse or manipulation.

You simply have to remove yourself from the premises if you have the ability. Shake the dust off so to speak.

When you have made a decision to shake off the dust, you then need to do it and don't look back.

Looking back will solve nothing if the abuser has no intention of reform.

Forgive and move on.

An abuser, manipulator, will only bring your life down right along with their own.

They are a dime a dozen.

Know it and keep sight on the special through Christ.
